Red Skies hungers for fresh content!

1.All writing submissions should be sent as an attachment in .rtf, doc, or .docx format.
2.Prose should be sent only as a single submission; poetry may be sent in batches of up to 3 poems.
3.If your work may be read in fewer than 3 minutes, Red Skies staff may ask you to work with them to create a podcast or video.
4.Please send your work from your Salem State e-mail address and mail to:  redskiesmagazine@gmail.com .
5.In the subject line of the e-mail, please indicate Creative Writing Submission.
6.In the body of the e-mail , include your name, year of graduation, your major, the title of your work, and the nature of your submission (Poetry, Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, Memoir, Flash Fiction, Dramatic Dialogue, Character Sketch, etc.). Also include a 50 word or less description of yourself. Be sure your name appears on any manuscript, as well.
7.Limit word counts for prose to 2,000 words. Red Skies appreciates submissions that are fewer than 2 typed pages.
8. Be advised that Red Skies reserves the right to edit for length, grammar, and inappropriate content.
9. General nonfiction and opinion should be presented at a Red Skies Open Meeting for a possible assignment.
10. Red Skies does not publish homework.
